HUNTING PACK SERVICES
We will transport you and your gear to locations within out permit area (GMU 75 –the Florida River Basin). If your preferred location is farther than we can ride in and out in one day (approximately 7 miles from the Transfer Park Trailhead), we will have to camp overnight ourselves and you will be required to pay an additional fee. All packing services costs are based on the number of pack animals that are required to pack your gear and the number of riding horses to transport your people to the desired location. Pack animals can carry up to 150 pounds of gear (or maybe less weight depending on the amount of bulk).
WE DO NOT RENT HORSES.
Example cost calculation: 2 hunters with 400 lb of gear within our ~7 mile range would require 2 riding horses @ $200/day = $400; 3 pack animals @ $200/day = $600; packing surcharge = $600; Total cost = $1600/Day. It would cost the same to pack out for a total cost of $3200 roundtrip.
